Chaplain Skye Stemmons

My path in life has been driven by a commitment to protect and serve, strong ethical principles, and a passion for community engagement. I am a proud veteran with more than 20 years of service in law enforcement and chaplaincy. Chaplains are an amazing tool to promote better health, wellness, and resiliency for every type of organization. With my background, I specialize in the unique challenges first responders have and seek to improve the often inadequate resources we have in Alaska. No matter what faith or personal beliefs you have, I can help support and empower you with confidential counseling.

Julia Lavin

I am an adult and pediatric death doula, professionally trained by the University of Vermont.
I am honored to support first responders and their families during some of the most challenging moments of their lives. I help with navigating anticipated (terminal illness, disease) and non-anticipated (suicide, line of duty, accident) end-of-life coordination. My primary role within the organization is to serve as a supportive presence during the final moments of a person's life with the
No Alaskan Dies Alone Project and the
No Alaskan Veteran Dies Alone Project.
