SERVING THOSE
WHO SERVE
First responders, healthcare professionals, 911 operators, search and rescue teams, tow truck drivers, and other frontline providers are exposed to traumatic events throughout their career. Their experiences can lead to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, and anxiety.
Unfortunately, they can’t just pick up the phone and ask for help.
Strengthening Families
The training and tools first responders in our community receive to excel on the job do not empower them to be successful at home.
Often, this can lead to divorce, chemical dependency, suicide, and other significant struggles that interfere with their daily lives. Our organization is dedicated to strengthening families by offering programs specific for their unique needs. Our programs offer a nurturing environment and facilitate open dialogue, ensuring they receive the care and support they need to thrive together.
Changing Workplace Culture
Our organization is committed to improving the mental health and well-being of emergency service professionals. We aim to cultivate a supportive environment that encourages open dialogue, resilience, and easy access to essential resources without fear of repercussions. Together, we will build a culture of strength and understanding, ensuring that those who serve our communities receive the care and support they need.
Ministering During Crisis
We can assist with line of duty death coordination, memorial planning, family support services, peer support services, and help you to accessing any additional resources your family or organization may need. We also provide essential spiritual support and guidance to individuals and families facing end-of-life issues, grief, and loss. We respect diverse beliefs and practices to allow everyone to feel a sense of belonging and community, ensuring no one has to face their crisis alone.
We are happy to announce our newest project:
No Alaskan Veteran Dies Alone
“I can’t express enough how grateful we are for the dedication and compassion of Alaska State Chaplain’s Foundation. They truly embody what it means to serve those who serve, and their support has made a lasting impact on our team’s well-being.”
